Good Luck Elephant Bracelet

Hi fans and followers I have just come back from a trip to India and wanted to share some tails..woof...woof of my adventures with you!! First off I want to start with The elephant symbolism, Elephants are a big part of Buddhism and Hinduism so I wanted to explore this creature's myths and meaning.
I learned to the Hindu way of thought, the elephant is found in the form of Ganesha who is the god of luck, fortune, protection and is a blessing upon all new projects. Ganesha is intent on bulldozing obstacles on your behalf ...woof... howl at the moon I adore this idea ya know I am a little guy and could really use a big strong lady elephant on my side..hee hee!! Ok back to bizness.
Some Asian cultures also believe the elephant is a cosmic creature...ooh  I am feeling sooo 60's here strawberry fields forever, oh sorry got off on a tangent... and carries the world upon it's back (much like the tortoise does in some tribal Native American myths).

If we dream and how I love to dream..woof... the elephants then would be sending us a message that we are able to deal with any obstacle we are faced with at this time. Dream elephants represent power, sovereignty, stability, and stead-fastness. If you dream that you are riding an elephant this suggests you have a tendency to be the leader of the family, and others are heavily depending on you. If you dream of elephants in a circus this suggests you have a cavalier attitude about a situation in your life and you may want to invest more attention to it....hmmm last night I dreamt I was skinny dipping with 4 blond poodles...oh I guess that wouldn't count, ok so forget that please rewind, remember the elephant is strong, powerful and helps to remove any of our obstacles as we all could use from time to time!!
Love to you all-

What are Prayer Beads or Mala's??

Woof Woof , I keep hearing all this talk about "Prayer Beads" Turchin Jewelry.com uses them in their jewelry designs so here is what I found.
Prayer beads are used by members of various religious traditions such as Roman Catholicism, Orthodox Christianity, Anglicanism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism and Bahá'í Faith to count the repetitions of prayers, chants or devotions, such as the rosary of Virgin Mary in Christianity and dhikr (remembrance God) in Islam.
The number of beads also vary I read but this depends on the different religion in use, man you human's have a lot of religions already its hard for this puppy to keep up with them all!!! Islamic prayer beads are called "Misbaha", "Tasbih" or "Tesbih", usually have either 99 or 33 beads. Buddhists and Hindus use the Japa Mala which usually has 108 beads, these are the Mala beads that turchinjewelry.com use...ah ha interesting....HOWL!
I also learned that all kinds of materials are used to make mala beads such as seeds of the rudraksha tree, beads made from the wood of the tulasi plant, animal bone, sandalwood, rosewood, ebonywood, or seeds from the Bodhi tree or seeds of the lotus plant. Semi-precious stones like carnelian and amethyst are also used.
So Cool... I LOVE learning new things I also love the fact that Turchinjewelry.com uses these very beautiful and deeply meaningful beads as part of their unique love is the answer inspired jewelry, cause we all know I am just a pudding of a poodle mushy to the wooshy as we say in poodle speak, LOVE to you all -

Compassion hands

During my Soul searching and travels I came upon the word Compassion a lot…WOOF so I began to ask around and found some interesting meanings for this woof…woof powerful word!

From the dictionary compassion means to recognize the suffering of others, then take action to help.
I asked Author Fredrick Buechner, he describes the meaning of compassion in these words: "Compassion is sometimes the fatal capacity for feeling what it is like to live inside somebody else's skin. It is the knowledge that there can never really be any peace and joy for me until there is peace and joy finally for you too." Ahh wow how deep is that woof… woof… my skin would be pretty itchy for most people to get into but be my guest…woof!

Then when I was in Ireland I asked U2 lead singer Bono, he explains that the meaning of compassion for people is to focus on those in need… ok I am beginning to understand this compassion thing.

The Bible defines the meaning of compassion in several ways. We are to "speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves … defend the rights of the poor and needy" (Proverbs 31:8-9, NIV). We do this by taking action instead of just talking about helping others!!!

I Love Compassion Dear friends help me woof…woof.. and let us show some compassion every day that way it can become a habit, an amazing habit that can generate so much good throughout the world…woof…I need a bone now I got so excited!

Till next time

wishes can come true!!!!

Turchin Aladdin w/ruby wishes
Hmm…. I was thinking today about  the Genies Lamp and Woof I  was wondering you know how dog’s do sometimes, how does that genie get in that little lamp and what’s with the wishes…woof I could use a lifetime worth of bones..woof..woof.

This is what I learned while on my Spiritual Quest…

The "Bottle" or "Lamp" is but the container of the genie. This represents YOU…oh how cool…woof…The Genie is the manifestation "driver" of a wish, or THOUGHT. The granting of a wish is known as the Transmission, the process of carefully weighing the odds…hmmm…I can weigh stuff..woof, woof.

One reason the genie often "gets it wrong" or apparently "grants you a wish deceptively" is to show us (by the story) that undisciplined (disruptive or out of control) thinking transmission is dangerous, and unfocused awareness brings you unfocused results.

Ahhh I get it..woof I need to focus my wishes or my wants, ah ha…woof!

If you don't like what you received for your "wish order”, we need to realize it was your own fault for not thinking the wish out not truly focusing on it with all we have…WOOF…I wish for a Really BIG Bone with all my HEART!!!!!

Love u guys_ Ringo.

I wish you love and light???

What does it mean when people say I wish you love and light…Victoria Beckham famously ends all her tweets with love and light…woof she’s cute!

I am going to talk first about colors of our Chakras (There are seven main energy centers (chakras) of the body. These chakras are like spirals of energy, each one relating to the others).
Turchin Love and Light Coin
 Embellished with red Sapphires
Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet are an important part of our life. Our physical body is consisted of three different energies, known as water, air, earth…woof …woof I love colors especially in “bones”.

When  people or dogs talk of Light, it means white light, which is formed by mixing these seven colors, cool…woof…I like mixing it up… we wish that your all seven Chakras are balanced and your health, wealth and finances are in good shape.
When we say ‘Love’ to you, it just means that your life is full of love and you are truly loved by all around you. We always wish you to have a love filled happy life and that your life itself is a blessing.

Love and Light to all of you my friends!!!

peace peace baby!!!!!!!

Many people and dogs ask me how to find inner peace...hmmm….not an easy answer but this story helped me to understand it a little better…woof…woof!

This ring’s meaning is that these
 compassionate dragons are holding
 the world up in peace!!

There once was a king who offered a prize to the artist who would paint the best picture of peace. Many artists tried. The king looked at all the pictures. But there were only two he really liked, and he had to choose between them….what a difficult conundrum…woof…big word of the day…woof!

Our Peace Sign Hand
with Black Diamonds!!
One picture was of a calm lake. The lake was a perfect mirror for peaceful towering mountains all around it. Overhead was a blue sky with fluffy white clouds. All who saw this picture thought that it was a perfect picture of peace.

The other picture had mountains, too. But these were rugged and bare. Above was an angry sky, from which rain fell and in which lightning played. Down the side of the mountain tumbled a foaming waterfall. This did not look peaceful at all.

But when the king looked closely, he saw behind the waterfall a tiny bush growing in a crack in the rock. In the bush a mother bird had built her nest. There, in the midst of the rush of angry water, sat the mother bird on her nest - in perfect peace.

Which picture do you think won the prize? The king chose the second picture. Do you know why?

"Because," explained the king, "peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. Peace means to be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in your heart.
That is the real meaning of peace."

WOOF!!!! How enlightening is that, so even when that German Sheppard next door howls all night I need to find PEACE in my heart…ok I will try!

Peace be w/ you my friends

Artisan's old school and still cool

silver gemstone rings
Just how old school is the word artisan well I did some research and during the middle ages artisan's were individual's who'd perfected basically..woof, woof.. mastered a skill....  they were known for their keen attention to detail, creative thinking and ability to work with their hands, an artisan was a  skilled manual worker, they were divided into two groups those who owned their own business called masters and those who didn't, the owners enjoyed a higher social status in their communities..hmmm woof...I think I could get used to being the master for a change!!!
